How does a dual-system printer switch between DTG and DTF?
The F13G3 makes switching incredibly seamless. For direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, place your cotton apparel flat onto the primary A3 flatbed platen tray. For direct-to-film (DTF) transfers, place our PET film carrier flat on the vacuum-secured bed and print. You simply change the media loading—no printhead swapping or complex conversions required.
Do I need to spray pretreatment for DTG and DTF prints?
Spraying pretreatment is required ONLY for DTG mode when printing white ink on dark or colored cotton garments to guarantee washability. In DTF mode, you absolutely do NOT need to spray pretreatment on any fabrics (whether cotton, polyester, or dark hoodies) because the transfer adhesive powder serves as the robust bonding layer.
Does the vacuum platform support thin transfer films?
Yes. The F13G3 features an integrated vacuum air bed. When printing on thin, lightweight PET sheets, the suction platform holds the transfer film perfectly flat. This prevents any edge-warping or film-shifting that could scratch the printhead carriage nozzles, ensuring high-speed safety.
